So we've decised to start a blog

We have been so fortunate in our lives to be able to travel, live in different places, try many cuisines, and now our latest project learning wine, that we've decided that we'd like to share our experiences with the world and hope that the world answers us back. I guess we should start off by introducing ourselves. My name in Dana and I was born an raised on Long Island in NY. After graduating from SVA in NYC, I stayed in the city until I met my husband Paolo- in Venice, Italy; were he was born. And so, this is where we are today.
Almost a year and a half ago we decided to start taking a sommelier course(with A.I.S)- after going to many tastings and visiting vinyards. Wine is something we both enjoy and taking the course together meant spending time together while learning something we were both passionate about. So lets get started, Welcome to our world.
Siamo stati veramente fortunati ad aver la possibilità di viaggiare, vivere in posti differenti, provare differenti cucine, e ora il nostro più recente progetto imparare a conoscere l'universo del vino, ecco perchè abbiamo deciso di dividere le nostre esperienze con il mondo e speriamo che il mondo ci risponda.
Credo che il miglior modo di iniziare sia presentadoci. Il mio nome è Paolo, sono nato a Venezia e cresciuto nell'Isola della Giudecca. Mi sono diplomato come Tecnico Elettronico a Mestre, e 7 anni fa, ho incontrato mia moglie Dana a Venezia dove viviamo adesso.
Circa un anno fa abbiamo deciso di iniziare il corso dell'A.I.S per diventare Sommelier professionisti. Il vino è qualcosa di universalmente conosciuto da tutti noi vogliamo conoscerlo molto da vicino e speriamo anzi ne siamo sicuri che con questi corsi possiamo regalarci e regalare momenti assolutamente speciali.
